Beach and Swimming Pools

For beach lovers, there is private parking 5 minutes within the estate opposite Thompson's Bay beach where you can enjoy a walk along the sands, watch the early surfers or swim in the tidal pool or Indian Ocean supervised by Lifeguards. In season, be sure to spot dolphins and whales along KwaZulu-Natal's finest coastline.

For long hot summers, take a dip in the swimming pool only a stone's throw away or enjoy family swimming, the DSTV lounge, braai and bar amongst communal facilities within a lakeside setting.

Golf

The Simbithi Country Club has designed an exclusive, challenging new 18-hole golf course, which includes a driving range and pro shop for residents staying here. The Club House also offers a bar and restaurant.

Other renowned golf courses nearby include Zimbali, Princes Grant, Umhlali and Mount Edgecombe. We welcome golfers and can arrange special rates for you to play golf at Simbithi.

We can also arrange the hire of golf carts for use within the estate at very reasonable rates.

Outdoors

Optimise your outdoor experience by fishing in one of the twenty plentiful dams. Go bird watching, or trek on one of many nature walks, mountain bike trails or simply enjoy playing tennis. Children can enjoy the tree house and playground in scenic beauty.

The estate's winding roads take you to the nearby Lifestyle Centre in Ballito where you will find a vast array of shops, banks and services. There are plenty of fine restaurants serving local game and seafood as well as those that cater for family dining.
